Senior Year Reflection

I am writing this in January of my senior year.  I cannot believe that my time at Longwood is almost complete.  In just a few short days, I start my last semester of undergrad.  I can’t wait to start student teaching at Cumberland Elementary School.  But, it seems like it was just yesterday that I was visiting Longwood for  Honors Preview Day.  I knew by the end of the weekend, that I wanted to be at Longwood in the fall that same year.  I fell even more in love with Longwood during the best, first, four-days of the best four-years.  In those days, I met my best friends who stayed with me throughout my entire journey at Longwood.  College was much different than I was expecting, but I have loved every minute of it.  Thank you, Longwood for giving me endless opportunities to grow into the person I am today.  Thank you for challenging me to be the best I can be.

They say one door must close before another can open.  I cannot wait for May 19th!  I will be able to proudly announce that I am an alumna of Longwood University.  Then, I will be able to say I am a graduate student at Dallas Baptist University pursuing my Master’s of Art in Children’s Ministry.

Countdown to Graduation
