LSEM is a class to help first-year students get accustomed to the college lifestyle. The class gives students tips on what to do and what not to do to be successful in college. This class was beneficial to me about how to gain some knowledge on time management. The journals that we wrote about throughout the semester taught me many things as well.
The artifact I selected is my first journal in the class. The assignment was to go somewhere on campus and observe the surroundings. I went to Brock Commons with some of my friends I made the first week since we all had similar assignments for our LSEMs. I tried to submit mine a few days before it was due. I didn’t realize until the day after it was due that my submission was never received on canvas. It taught me a good life lesson to double check that assignments submitted actually get submitted.
