Throughout the course, my professor challenged us to participate in class doing various exercises relating to the topic at hand. Sometimes it was reading lines from a play, others it was showing how different emotions change a scene. We were also required to go to two plays put on by Longwood students, Macbeth and Everyman. After we watched the plays, we were required to write a paper highlighting certain features of the play.
Below I have included my paper on the play Everyman. The play was very comical and I enjoyed watching it. The paper we had to write was in a review format. We had to review the costumes and the actors’ performances while focusing on one main person. I selected this because it helped me pay attention to the details of the performance. It helped me start to be able to look at the details of future assignments in other classes.
