Goal 7: Historical Inquiry I (HIST 150)

During this class, we had weekly readings and a day of discussion about the readings.  This made sure that everyone could relate what was read to different comparisons of scenarios or make an opinion around the topic. It helped develop more understanding of the time period that we were learning, A struggle in the class I had to overcome was the last month of the class. My professor had some health problems that did not allow him to be in the classroom. This led to class having irregular meeting times until it came to review for the final. It was very different and difficult because at times there were miscommunications between him and the students. I tried to stay on top of things and do assignments on time.

The artifact that I have below is the first response paper from the class. We did two response papers that covered the weekly readings. We were given prompts based on the readings for that week and had to choose one of those prompts. I chose to talk about the week where we saw different strong females from Greek history. Through stories like theirs, women and girls around the world can figure out how they are strong in their own way.
