Euclidean Geometry (MATH 335)

This was one of my favorite classes to take. It was a challenging course, but not challenging where I got frustrated and gave up. It was challenging where I would get frustrated, then find out how to finish the proof and feel great satisfaction from completing it. This class gave me a lot of background knowledge for elementary math topics. The class developed my explanation skills so that I can give some insight to my future students about geometry topics.

The artifact I chose is a website/application we used for a lab that we did in class. We explored different rectangles in hyperbolic geometry. It was challenging at first because it wasn’t the results that you expect in the euclidean geometry. This lab just showed another world to develop my math mind and problem-solving skills. The application made it easy to take the measurements we needed for the lab.
