Scholarship is when a person strives to do their best to achieve the best. Its also asking for help when you do not understand a certain topic.  When I first applied to Longwood, I was hesitant to apply for the honors college because in high school, I never tried for the more advanced classes. A huge aspect of scholarship in the honors college is that the work is not just difficult, it’s just more work. It is more work but an easy load to deal with. I feel that scholarship comes with a goal and I’ve always had a goal to excel in my academics even if I’ve had trouble trying to reach that goal.
