Hi, my name is Angelika Gomez. I am currently a senior and I am a therapeutic recreation major with a health education minor. I am apart of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority, Therapeutic Recreation Organization, and the National Society of Leadership Success. I am also in the Cormier Honors College within Longwood University. After graduating college, I hope to be a recreational therapist in physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Since I was little, I have always wanted to help people. I always put others well being first before my own. My older brother is a Radiologist and my dad used to be a combat nurse in the Air Force. I loved watching them help people and I knew I always wanted to help others when I got older. I chose to be a recreational therapist because I felt that, that was the best way I could do it and care for others.
