I have always considered myself an academic, constantly searching for knowledge and opportunities to demonstrate what I have learned. That’s part of the reason why I joined the Cormier Honors College. I wanted more opportunities to push myself and reach my fullest potential academically. That being said, during my time here at Longwood, I have learned that academics are not everything. While academic growth is important, so is personal growth. Being a part of the Cormier Honors College has allowed me to grow in both ways, and for that I am grateful.
