Letter to Senior Self

Dear Future Breana,

Well, well, well. Looks like we finally made it, huh? Three years ago you were just like me: a little fish in a big pond, just starting out on the college road. I never thought we’d finally make it.

I hope you accomplished all the things you wanted to. I know I’m already proud of the things we’ve done so far. We survived a year of working at the dining hall, we joined a strings ensemble, and we made an amazing group of friends. Sure we’ve had some ups and downs, but we made it through our freshman year a stronger, smarter, and more confident person.

I know the road ahead must seem scary. You’re probably about to become a teacher in Henrico County– which you’ve been waiting for since high school. Don’t be too nervous, because I know you’ll do great.

I can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish next.

Best of luck,

Your past self
