LSEM, which stands for Longwood Seminar, is a class that all freshmen are required to take. It’s purpose is to help us make the transition to college smoother and help prepare us for the years ahead. Above is an example of one of the assignments we were required to do. This essay was a summary of the community service I did at FACES, a food bank in Farmville. In this class, we wrote a lot of reflections that helped me not only learn about myself, but what I want to accomplish at Longwood.
