Dillon T. Fail

Mr. Fail is currently the first grade lead teacher at Hidenwood Elementary School in Newport News, Virginia. Prior to serving in his current position, Mr. Fail served as a fourth grade and fifth grade lead teacher at Dutrow Elementary School in Newport News, Virginia.

In 2014, he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies with a minor in Elementary Education and a dual concentration in humanities and social science as well as race, ethnicity, gender, and class from James Madison University. In 2015, again through James Madison University, Mr. Fail obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching degree with a concentration in Elementary Education (PK-6). Mr. Fail completed an endorsement in Educational Leadership through Longwood University in August 2019.
