Reflection

By writing these journals, I learned how to analyze literary works and effectively write about them. Each journal entry is about an important public issue written by various authors discussing their perspectives on the topic. Because of this course, I was able to understand these perspective and put their thoughts into my own words. With each entry, I attempted to connect the literary works to outside examples. For example, I used the Bill of Rights as an example of how many words are male dominated in the Terministic Screens Journal Entry. Though, at the beginning of the semester, I did not have a clear idea on what rhetoric was, I slowly learned and practiced it through my entries.
