Welcome to my blog!

My name is Miki (Emily) Martin, and I am now a senior here at Longwood University.  I will be graduating in the fall of 2019 with a bachelors in Therapeutic Recreation with a minor in Art.

During my time here, I have accumulated over 200 hours of field work spanning over multiple different organizations.  The most impactful were Chesterfield Parks and Recr, Longwood’s Healthy Innovations, and Piedmont Geriatric Hospital.  I have learned to facilitate a wide array of different leisure activities and skills, although my best work has been in creative forms of leisure or those that are placed in a group setting.  I am very proud of my art skills,  and I wish to pursue more experience in tabletop and electronic games.
