Symposium
The capstone to the Civitae core program consists of 3 credits in CTZN 410. I plan on taking an honors section of this course in Fall 2021 with Professor Jacob Dolence. The aim of this course was to create a product or complete a project that betters the community in some way. Though this was a broad topic, several groups in my class did great things to improve life for the Longwood community and beyond. The thing that most resonates with me was the things my class was able to achieve in just a semester. From this class, I learned that anybody, even twenty-year-olds, can make a major difference when they are given encouragement. Though it was not always easy, this course allowed me to see the good that college students are capable of doing.
