This is my E-Portfolio for English-400. My name is Dylan Campbell and I am a senior at Longwood studying to be an Elementary School Teacher. I love to help others and I think it is important for children to have a male role models as kids and that is what inspired me to want to become a teacher. I’ve done various volunteer work throughout schools in Chesterfield County and while I want to work hard and become an Elementary teacher, my end goal is to become a college professor. I work at the gas station Sheetz in order to fulfill my dream and finish college. I’ve lived with my girlfriend for over a year now and she continues to inspire me on my path to become an educator. I believe hard work and dedication can help anyone fulfill their goals and that is why I continue to persevere in order to accomplish my dream of becoming a teacher. Helping others obtain a brighter future is my goal and I will do anything to fulfill my dream.

This portfolio is made to highlight some of the things I have accomplished in English-400 and what I have learned along the way. This course has taught me to grow and become a stronger speaker and writer in my college career and I believe that it will appear evident when reading the E-portfolio the amount of knowledge that one is able to gather throughout their English class.
