ENGL 210

I thoroughly enjoyed this course so much. ENGL 210 gave me the opportunity to explore a variety of plays and pieces of literature that broadened my horizons and expanded my knowledge of several significant plays. We read several significant plays, such as A Raisin in the Sun and Fences, which covered topics of race, socioeconomic status, conflict within families, and the pursuit of dreams. These plays were amazing to read and I got a lot out of the readings for this class. I’ve attached a copy of my responses to the midterm exam to show the level of thinking and comprehension that was necessary for this class. Another aspect that I thought was very nice were the journal entries which we would write at the beginning of each class on questions related to our own lives. These journal entries would make me think deeply about my opinions and experiences in life. I developed a stronger appreciation for literature and became a more well-rounded individual because of this course.
