For me, I found ENGL 165 to be easy because I went into the course with strong writing skills that I had developed while in high school. I’ve taken many English classes in high school that have helped me to become a proficient and effective writer. As a result, I didn’t find ENGL 165 to be too challenging. However, there were some things that were fun and interesting to learn in ENGl 165. For example, I learned how to write several types of documents, such as annotated bibliographies and literature reviews. I have attached a copy of my literature review below. I also learned about writing convention across academic disciplines and the importance of writing across the curriculum. These lessons that I have learned from ENGL 165 will help me as I continue writing through my time in university.
