I found this course to be easy for me but there were many aspects of the course that I enjoyed. The course curriculum and the in-class assignments encouraged me to think critically and collaborate with others which ultimately improved my learning. Because of the unique and explorative nature of Education 245, I was able to apply what I had learned in class to my own personal development. For example, after learning about the ecological systems theory of Urie Bronfenbrenner, I then used this knowledge to analyze and reflect on my childhood through a new perspective. I have attached my personal reflection at the bottom of this page. Overall, I think that Education 245 has been a useful course that will assist me during the rest of my time in university.
