I have taken digital editing classes as well as media writing classes. For digital editing I learned how to use Adobe Premiere as well as Final Cut to complete projects. For advanced media writing I learned how to write like a journalist. I also learned how to properly interview someone. I also took public speaking, which taught me communication skills as well as verbal skills. I have taken Digital and Social Media Technology, which has taught me how to write a proper blog as well as know social media trends. I know how to use WordPress. I am also Hootsuite certified.
Through my media production class I have been able to gain studio skills by working with audio, studio cameras, graphics, directing and anchoring.
I have had an internship with Massanutten Resort by being their video editor. I made video newsletters based on what they needed for that week. I was able to communicate with the staff through email
