Goal 11: PHED 101

Taking a Physical Education class did not seem entirely daunting as an athlete, but even with my doubts I still did end up learning a lot in this course. Using my Fitbit, I was able to track and record the number of steps I took daily, with a goal of 10,000 steps a day. Every two weeks I had to write a report on my progress and I loved calculating all my steps and seeing what types of exercise went along with each amount of steps. The most important thing I learned in this course is the importance of movement throughout the day, as a sedentary lifestyle tends to lead to higher risks of deadly diseases.

Artifact – Physical Monitoring Report

This is one of the bi-weekly reports I had to write recording my step progress for the month of April.
