Music 222: History of Rock

This paper was for Professor McEvoy’s Music 222 course during the 2018 fall semester. This paper was comparing an artist from before the 70s to an artist after the 70s. For my paper, I chose to compare Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé because they are similar artists that have similar styles in their music.

This was my first music paper, where I had to compare two different artists and their songs. In the paper, I had to use specific terminology from class when I was describing the songs. Through this paper, I learned the impact an artist and their music can have on society. I also learned the correct terminology to use and when to use it. In the future, I hope to be able to continue to use more of the correct terminology for specific topics in my future papers.
