Scholarship

Being a good student, or scholar, has been important to me for as long as I can remember. I’ve always had a love of learning because I enjoy understanding the world around me and learning helps me be more aware and also engages me. I love being able to discuss history or cool anatomy facts with my peers, so I always knew that college was in my future. However, I’ve worked very hard in school to get to where I am today. I took 6 AP courses in high school and ended with a 3.94 GPA, and if I hadn’t worked as hard as possible I wouldn’t be where I am today. Being in college presents new challenges, such as learning how to learn in a new environment and what works best for you, but as a scholar I know that anything is possible as long as I work for it.
