I took HIST 222 wit Dr. Dudley Shotwell first semester of my freshman year. In this class in particular I found the style of work a struggle, as it was based on call and response. I learned that I am a very introverted person and do not like volunteering answers in class. I struggled to engage in the type of teaching presented in this class. I did however find it easy to learn the material through the assigned readings which in turn made the tests and projects easier to manage.
