For those who don’t know me, my name is Carson Smith, the creative mind behind this blog as well as the recent undergrad from Longwood University. I studied Public Relations in Communication Studies for four years. I was the president of Men’s Club Basketball for two years and have worked for the Big South Network. I have always enjoyed studying a variety of materials in the academic settling. English challenged my creativity as well as my academic tone and professional presence. Historical always baffled me because I couldn’t image what it was like for other people living during those time periods. However, I wondered about all the details that experts were able to find out about the past. Speaking of the past, nature will always be something that I admire about life. I wish to understand more about my surroundings and how they can affect my life in the future. For example, how will I find ways to use energy more efficiently, create more affordable purchases, and show others what life has to offer.
The goal of this blog will test my abilities to improve my online presence as well as share information from my experiences findings, and thoughts on my literature review of “Thank You for Arguing.” My identity in Longwood University needs some advancements. I am a very determined individual and I wish to expand my persona in the English department and my name as a writer.
