Welcome to my literacy portfolio. This site is a culmination of the work I achieved at Longwood University during my experience in the Reading, Literacy, and Learning Program of Studies. Every course was meaningful to me as a teacher. All the lesson plans that were developed went into application in the classroom as soon as they were created. I began this program searching for support in helping my struggling readers. I am leaving this program inspired to instill sound literacy skills into every child I teach. My time at Longwood has dramatically enhanced my teaching. The best thing about that is that the children reap the benefits.
