Letter to Senior Self
Oh, so now it is time to really grow up. I knew we would make it this far, but had no idea it would come so soon. Congratulations, you’ve made it this far and do not give up now. I hope your plan is to still proceed on to a graduate degree or attend law school. I know any path you take you will make it.
Thought times were tough before, and at one point in time the idea of a bachelors degree seemed impossible, but you did it! You worked hard and attained the scholarships so you could financially support yourself in school. Remember to thank you mother, who raised you to be independent and to be self motivated. She taught you to always be dependable, and to always do the things you promised to do, even for yourself.
Remember how rough your first semester was… yea, that was a hard one, but also remember how the second semester you spend every waking second with your new found best friend Nicole. Your second semester you ran for every position yo could and never said no to any opportunity put in front of you (even if you were scared). You now go to Student Government Association every Tuesday with an amazing group of people. You are in an outstanding service fraternity and have found your brothers for life. You attend a meeting with HSA every other Sunday with smart and talented college student who are paving the way for those to come. Never doubt yourself, EVER! Because even though you have before, look how far you have made it.
