To me service means helping out those in your community, not only in times of need, but at all times. I have always liked the saying, treat others how you want to be treated. If I were in a situation where I needed help, I would want someone else to step up to help me. I have been in some situations where I needed help and it is a great feeling to have someone help me. When given the opportunities, I want to make other people feel that way. It is also a great feeling to help others, not just receive the help.
