Sociology is a class that I’m very happy I took because I feel that it’s content is growing more and more relevant. The ways that people identify themselves and others is a critical factor in behaviors. Sociology teaches one how to identify and work on problems, both introspectively interpersonally. Before one can apply the concepts of sociology in these ways, though, one must understand the different ways of examining the human condition.
The above document is an example of an assignment designed to help us recognize how different theories examine behaviors. I believe that both this assignment and this class as a whole were very effective in helping me gain insight into my actions and way of thinking. I can honestly say that I feel as if I am better off having taken this course.
