In Professor Frisbie-Fulton’s HIST 222, our curriculum focused on American history from Civil War Reconstruction to current day. Although I dreaded waking up for my only 8am, I was enlightened by Frisbie-Fulton’s animated lectures and adored her passion for the subject she taught.
The class did not have many assignments, but I found each to be challenging and beneficial to my learning experience. We had three Critical Source Analysis papers: we were given a number of documents and primary or secondary sources to write a paper on. We also each completed one Scholarly Article Presentation throughout the course of the semester, which consisted of primary or secondary source analysis, which we then conveyed and communicated to the entire class to reflect and share what we had concluded about various historical subjects.
