I took Principles of Management as a Core class for my major and I also added an enhancement for the class.  In addition to learning about the fundamentals of management in work environments, I also did research for my professor, Dr. Haug.  I found five scholarly articles that could potentially help his research, pertaining to factors that contribute to engagement  in undergraduate business students.  I had to present my findings at the poster session, which was my first time participating in the poster session.  In addition, I had to present my findings to my class.  My PowerPoint slides are attached.  Overall, this class helped get me out of my comfort zone, as I made multiple presentations in front of the class.  Although this challenged me, I think that it was very beneficial to my public speaking skills.
