ENGL 150 was unlike any English class I’ve ever taken, serving as a General Education goal as well as an Honors course during my first semester of my freshman year. Instead of having a set of rules and guidelines to abide by while writing, I could think outside the box and have more freedom. At the same time, I learned new and more challenging concepts, and was pushed outside my comfort zone. I learned how to use a variety of scholarly sources and integrated them into my pieces to ultimately improve my argument. I also learned about writing in my major, which will be beneficial in my future major work.
