During my first semester at Longwood, like all Freshmen, I took LSEM 100.  Although we only met once a week, I found that I learned many useful tips and lessons that I could use throughout my college career.  Each week I wrote a journal on a topic which we would discuss the following class.  The topic would vary by week, but they were all based on helping students become successful in college and beyond.  I believe that LSEM enhanced my productivity in all classes by teaching me valuable lessons, and I will continue to use what I learned in the future.
