Before Longwood, I had taken French from seventh grade through eleventh grade. Before the second semester started, I was nervous to take French because I wasn’t sure how much I would remember, but once I started, I started to recall what I had previously learned. This helped me improve my french, learn new vocabulary and grammar, and improve my pronunciation. I also learned about French culture and current events in France and this was interesting and helped me make associations between this and what I had learned. I was required to write two compositions based on prompts dealing with what vocabulary and grammar we had recently learned. Here is my second composition:
