Modern Western Civilization served as a Gen. Ed. goal as well as an honors course for my Spring 2016 semester. This was by far my hardest class this semester because it was a different style of teaching and learning, but I learned so much information in the class. Dr. Holliday lectured in a way that made sense to me, and instead of using a traditional textbook, we used primary documents, and three books that looked like something you would read in English class. We had to write an essay on each book, and analyze primary documents to make sense of the context of what we were learning.
