THEA 101 was a completely new subject for me because I had never taken a theatre or acting class before.  But over the course of my first semester at Longwood, I was exposed to new information on theatre that I would have never known if it weren’t for this class.  In addition to learning about theatre, I read four plays to which I responded in a Forum post, and saw two plays and wrote essays on them.  In addition, I did a research paper and presentation on Sanskrit Theatre, and participated in an original production.  For the original production, I was the Director for my group, and used what I learned in class to help my group.
