I have since come to realize through my involvement within the community of Longwood University that one’s involvement in his or her community is both beneficial to the growth of one’s self and to others.  It’s being a part of something that grows alongside its members.  I have been a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, club field hockey team,  and Delta Zeta Soriority.
