Involvement

While at Longwood in addition to classes, I have kept myself busy with various clubs and organizations.

• Alpha Gamma Delta, Director of Merchandising: I became a sister of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority in February 2018. I was recently elected as the Director of Merchandising, where I create & design all of our t-shirts for events such as Recruitment. I also work closely with the VP of Marketing running our social media accounts.
• Blue Heat Dance Team: I am a 2nd-year member of Longwood’s Club Dance Team, Blue Heat. This team dances at every football and basketball game, in addition to competing yearly & upholding the spirit of Longwood University.
• Greek Ambassadors: This past fall I was selected to be a Greek Ambassador for Longwood’s Greek community for the 2019 calendar year. Through this position, I will be educated on important topics such as mental health awareness and will inform current & new Greek members through workshops.
• Odyssey Online, Event Coordinator: I am a creator for the Odyssey Online, an online national publication where students have the opportunity to write & publish articles on various topics & events. I am also an Event Coordinator, where I create and hold events for the organization such as spirit nights and team bonding nights.
• Public Relations Student Society of America: I am a new member of PRSSA, a networking organization for college students within the Communication Studies field.
